The farmhouse
A completely renovated old farmhouse, offering comfort and simplicity, it welcomes anyone seeking relaxation and a sense of well-being.
It owes its name to its pleasant, sunny location among the pristine Umbrian hills, surrounded by green valleys, olive groves, vineyards, grazing sheep, sunflower fields, and woods.
The farmhouse is located on the outskirts of the medieval town of San Gemini, one of the most picturesque in Umbria, which in 2000 became part of the Slow Cities circuit.
The accommodation
The farmhouse is structured into 5 large, welcoming, bright, and panoramic double bedrooms, all finely furnished, with private bathrooms and the option of adding one or two extra beds.
You can also enjoy a peaceful outdoor holiday in an annex with a private garden, panoramic veranda, and barbecue. It also features a kitchenette and, if desired, air conditioning. It's ideal for three people and pets are welcome.
In the delightful restaurant, gourmets are sure to savor the most delicious gastronomic specialties of the finest Umbrian tradition: handmade pasta, flavorful grilled meats, seasonal legume and vegetable soups, lamb, chicken, and wild boar stews, all prepared with our own extra virgin olive oil and accompanied by the excellent house wine.
Activities and surroundings
The farmhouse features a wonderful swimming pool where you can sunbathe and enjoy the view. Between dips, you can stop to admire the surrounding landscape: vast valleys and green hills, among which you'll glimpse San Gemini, the cities of Terni and Narni, and the snow-capped peak of Terminillo on the horizon.
You will also have the opportunity to play a game of country volleyball, ping pong, or perhaps take a walk in nature.
Nearby, in addition to the town of San Gemini and its renowned spa for mineral water treatments, where you can stroll through the centuries-old park of the Fonte, sipping mineral water and stopping to admire the landscape, you will have the opportunity to stroll through the ancient Roman province of Carsulae and visit its archaeological park, the Dunarobba fossil forest, and the beautiful Marmore Falls.
From the farmhouse's location, the most important art cities of central Italy are easily accessible: Assisi, Todi, Orvieto, Spoleto, Foligno, Amelia, Narni, Perugia, Rome, and Florence.
